This was a great year for ISPA, partly down to the fact it was the first season made entirely up of new silhouettes, in comparison to 2018 and 2019 which mostly saw ISPA editions of existing models (React Element, 270, 720 etc). 2020, which was ISPA's second year, saw the release of the Road Warrior (arguably one of the craziest Nike's ever), the Overreact FK and FK Sandal, the Drifter and this: the ISPA Flow, which in our opinion is one of the more wearable silhouettes from the season. It is of course still a very wild shoe. The uppers are an amalgamation of different technical knits, meshes, stitch details and heat transferred panels, all criss-crossed by an unconventional lacing pattern. The injection moulded components are also worth noting, especially the medial lace loops. My favourite details on this pair would have to be the Kukini midsole mould texture, the ISPA 720-esque cut outs on the tongue and the Free Trail 5.0 inspired heel mesh cut outs. These ISPA models are a true testament to footwear innovation! Great condition, online now.
