This vintage Staffordshire cat pitcher jug was produced in the late 1990s by Royale Stratford in Stoke-on-Trent, the historic heart of England’s pottery industry. It carries the authentic Royale Stratford backstamp, confirming its English origin and quality finish.
Royale Stratford operated for a relatively short period between 1997 and 2005, creating finely made ceramic and bone china pieces that are now becoming increasingly difficult to find. Despite its brief history, the brand is well regarded for its careful craftsmanship and charming designs inspired by traditional Staffordshire pottery.
Shaped in the classic Staffordshire cat style, this cat jug blends decorative character with everyday practicality. It works beautifully even as a unique vase for display on open shelving or sideboards. The expressive feline form brings warmth and personality to both traditional and contemporary interiors.
Please note: This cat jug is not recommended for holding liquids, as it may not be completely watertight. If using it as a vase, we suggest dried or artificial flowers, or placing a small inner container for fresh stems.
A delightful piece of vintage English homeware, ideal for cat lovers and anyone who appreciates charming British pottery with a story.

In very good vintage condition. The glaze and colours remain well preserved and the piece displays beautifully. A fine firing hairline is visible at the base, created during the original kiln process, which is common in ceramic production and does not affect the strength.
