Vintage fabulous Dinner Plate 1940’s dress in Royal Blue with plaid insert.
Such a beautiful dress with contrast blue and red plaid detailing. Exclusive “Damille” model label and the all important Dinner Plate Label exuding the quality. 3/4 slightly dolman sleeves, side Lightening metal zip opening. Taffeta plaid panel with pussy bow and 7 x false button front opening with attached poppers. The same taffeta plaid contrast addition to the sleeve cuffs  and also added to the fabulous belt clasps. Slight darts to the bust down to waistline. The skirt has deep evenly spaced pleats. A lovely weight to the dress.

Harder to find now these Dinner Plate beauties, let alone in this fabulous condition., also being a good size.

Accessorise with classic Red or Navy. A piece anyone would feel gorgeous in. 
A treat to all Utility label collectors or a very nice treat for oneself.
