Tough Multi-Purpose Resins

Forward AM’s Ultracur3D^® ST range of reactive urethane photopolymers are the first choice for difficult resin applications where limited levels of impact adsorption and compression, low bending stress and elasticity are required to prevent brittle fracture. They have been specially developed for printing highly detailed products and offer long-term UV stability.

Multi-purpose resin for a variety of applications with high durability and fast, easy printing.Ultracur3D^® ST 7500 G from Forward AM is the latest addition to the Tough product line. This material is extremely fast and easy to print, with printed parts featuring excellent surface quality and intricate detail. This makes the material perfect for applications such as figurines, hobby models and functional prototypes. The combination of high resilience and low water absorption also makes this material perfect for any application where high durability is required, such as outdoor use.

Compared to other materials in the Tough product line: It has a slightly lower impact strength than Ultracur3D^® ST 45 B, but also significantly lower water absorption. Compared to Ultracur3D^® ST 80 B, it has better overall mechanical properties and can be printed much faster. Compared to an existing grey general purpose product on the market, Ultracur3D^® ST 7500 G shows a very similar performance, with a higher elongation at break, but a slightly lower modulus of elasticity and HDT. In addition, Ultracur3D^® ST 7500 G is TPO-free.
