This is an original antique Victorian Sir Walter Scott's Poetical Works mauchline ware book from 1869. The front cover has an image of Stirling Castle in Scotland. The bottom of the front cover is signed Made of Wood Which Grew on the Field of Bannockburn. Scot's Wha Hae Wi Wallace Bled. Both the front cover and back cover are wooden and the spine is leather embossed with the title in gold writing. It measures 17cm in height 11cm in width and 4cm in thickness. The front cover is loose and has been secured with leather on both the front and back cover many years ago. Other than that, it is in great condition for it's age and would be a wonderful addition to a collection.
