Effects of this medicine
・This medicine is a corticosteroid (steroid hormone) which has various action to improve inflammation, allergic symptoms, and suppress immunoreaction.
・It is usually used to treat various diseases such as immune disease, allergic disease and inflammatory disease. However, it does not cure the cause of the disease itself.
Dosing schedule (How to take this medicine)
・Rheumatism, etc.: In general, for adults, take 1 to 16 tablets (0.5 to 8 mg of the active ingredient) a day, in 1 to 4 divided doses. The dosage may be adjusted according to disease, age and symptoms of the patient.
・Nausea/vomiting accompanied with administrating antineoplastic drug: In general, for adults, take 8 to 40 tablets (4 to 20 mg of the active ingredient) a day, in 1 to 2 divided doses. DO NOT exceed the daily maximum dosage, 40 tablets (20 mg).
・Systemic AL amyloidosis: In combination with other medicine, in general, for adults, take 80 tablets (40 mg of the active ingredient) a day on Days 1, 8, 15 and 22. This 28 - day cycle is considered as 1 cycle. This treatment cycle will be repeated up to 6 times.
・Strictly follow the instructions in any case.
・If you miss a dose, take a dose as soon as you remember. However, if it is almost time for the next dose, skip the missed dose and follow your regular dosing schedule. You should never take two doses at one time.

・If you have previously experienced any allergic reactions (itch, rash, etc.) to any medicines or foods.
・If you have infection, systemic mycosis, peptic ulcer, psychosis, tuberculosis, herpes simplex keratitis, posterior capsular cataract, glaucoma, hypertension, thrombosis or uncontrolled diabetes.
Swelling tendency.
・If you have recently received any surgery to internal organs.
・If you have a history of acute myocardial infarction.
・If you are pregnant or breastfeeding.
・If you are taking any other medicinal products. (Some medicines may interact to enhance or diminish medicinal effects. Beware of over-the-counter medicines and dietary supplements as well as other prescription medicines.)
