Grant Noble is one of the most talented up and coming surfer/shapers that Newport and Costa Mesa has seen in a long time. His Wilbur model is an all-around longboard that is meant to be surfed all over from nose to tail. It offers a pulled back wide-point, making a piggy outline with a pulled in nose and rounded squash tail. The rails are pretty knifey, offering high speed rail engagement. On the bottom, Grant has placed a mellow nose concave that extends halfway down the board before blending into a slight roll through the rest. This contour composition allows for stability from the nose, while also offering speed and whip through turns. The rocker profile is pretty mellow, but features a nice slight curve throughout. Ride the Wilbur at your favorite beachbreak, point, or reef: it can do it all!
