A nice Farlow's Patent Lever reel, 4 3/4" in diameter. 2" spool width. The makers info is engraved on the backplate which notes that this is Number 547. Large ebonite handle that spins freely. Long straight foot that measures 3 7/16" in length. The reel winds smoothly and the drag adjuster works as it should. Very clean overall with a wonderful patina and no issues that I could find anywhere. The reel also packs into a superb, original excellent condition Farlow leather block case. A very fine example of this early salmon reel.
