The Tuco Saman Dining Table is carved from a single slab of monkeypod wood (also known as Saman), selected for its striking grain and tonal movement. Preserving the organic contours of the tree, the live edge runs naturally along both long sides of the tabletop. A transparent resin river highlights a natural void in the wood, stabilizing the surface while emphasizing the unique character of the slab.

Industrial Stability with Refined Detail

Supporting the 39" x 82" top is our signature Tuco leg design: robust T-shape steel bases with integrated Saman wood insets. Finished in matte black, the legs contrast the warmth of the wood while maintaining material cohesion. The 30" overall height allows comfortable placement with most standard dining chairs. This table delivers visual strength and architectural clarity to open dining spaces.

Each Tuco Saman table is handmade and therefore entirely unique. While this specific piece may already be sold, a nearly identical table can be crafted upon request. Slight variations in grain, tone, and natural features are to be expected and are central to the aesthetic. The surface is hand-oiled to preserve the wood’s tactile texture and protected with a matte finish that resists daily wear.
