Technology / Science of Dropped Seatstays:

Dropped seatstays gives the frame the ability to cushion you,
When the saddle is pushed down, it flexes the seat post and this, in turn, tries to bend the seat tube. Lowering the point at which the seat stays meet the seat tube allows the seat tube to bend more, increasing the range of movement at the saddle.
This acts as a mini absorber of vibrations and impact on rough terrains as the the seat tube offers seat post compliance for a more comfortable ride;
✅ Stiffer: smaller triangles are stiffer, keeping the rear triangle stiffer and maintaining power transfer to your rear wheel
Triple Butted Explained:
✅ Triple Butting / Triple Butted: The main purpose of choosing the higher number of butting is to SAVE WEIGHT.
Triple butted means the alloy tubes used has Three varying thickness. More thickness is done on areas where there is high stress load, while less material thickness is done on areas that are not subject to so much stress. This way, we are being smart and putting more materials where they matter most, and ultimately gives us weight savings.
