A pear-shaped tanzanite set in 18ct yellow and white gold. This ring has impeccable provenience, purchased directly from the previous (and only) owner who sourced this magnificent stone directly from Tanzania, in late 1980s, just a few years after the mine was discovered. The stone was then masterfully set into a simple 18ct two tone gold setting, crafted by hand, in 1995. The setting was designed to show off this mesmerising stone with its purply-blue tones. This ring was a joy to discover, it's very beautiful and rare to find a tanzanite with such a great depth of colour.
