Fabulous new wine from Santa Julia. This co-fermentation (80% Malbec, 20% Torrontés) with indigenous yeasts from organic vineyards located in Maipú. Short maceration of 15 days. This results in a fresh and fruit-driven wine with aromas of strawberries, cherries and raspberries and floral notes, grapey too. It's so fresh, really needs to be served cool. Was a great match to some spicy Mexican food. Called Clarete - effectively a type of rosé/light red made by co-fermenting red and white grapes, was very common in Spain.
