Black sunflowers represent intuition, mysticism and magic. They also symbolise embracing both the light and the shadow sides of yourself and life. Their dark beauty suggests an empowerment in their uniqueness and to explore the unknown without fear.

The design is constructed in a geometric form to compliment the natural spiral geometry of the flower centre, known as Fibonacci - so fascinating!

The flower is made up of three gradual layers to create depth with each and every petal is individually cut, engraved, hand inked and assembled intricately in place. The centre is engraved wood which picks up the spiral pattern perfectly.

Marble steel leaves and gloss grey stem complete the piece and is secured to a scroll bar fastening.
