Santadi Carignano del Sulcis Riserva 'Rocca Rubia' 2022Rich, ripe nose, almost perfumed wine with a delicious creamy character on the palate and bags of soft ripe blackcurrant fruit. The acidity is all there, balanced against soft, full tannins and there is great structure and mouthfeel. Succulent, round and complex. Grown in coastal Sulcis, where pre phylloxera rootstocks still survive.
