OUR PLANE'S STORY

N16807, built as an MD-82, took to the skies for the first time on July 20, 1984. It was delivered to Continental Airlines on September 5, 1984, becoming part of the airline's strategic efforts to modernize its fleet with the introduction of the MD-82. Upon entering service, N16807 was assigned to various domestic routes, establishing itself as a reliable workhorse for the airline until its retirement in 2002. 

In FLIGHT, N16807 played a crucial role, showcasing its interior and cockpit in thrilling scenes.
