The Raymarine CPT-S Bronze Thru-Hull Transducer (E70340) is a low-profile, high-performance sonar solution designed specifically for vessels with fiberglass or wooden hulls. This 12-degree angled element version is engineered to compensate for hull deadrise, ensuring the conical sonar beam points straight down for the most accurate depth and fish-targeting data.
The CPT-S is a dedicated High CHIRP transducer, operating in the 170–230 kHz range. Unlike traditional sonar, it sweeps across a range of frequencies to provide significantly better target separation and high-resolution imagery of baitfish and bottom structure.
12° Angled Element: Internally tilted to accommodate hulls with a deadrise between 7° and 17°, allowing for a flush, low-profile mount that minimizes drag.
Conical Beam: Features a 25° beam width, providing a wide area of coverage directly beneath the boat for reliable fish targeting.
Depth and Temperature: Provides accurate depth readings up to 900 feet and includes an integrated seawater temperature sensor.
Rugged Bronze Housing: The heavy-duty bronze construction is ideal for permanent thru-hull installations in both saltwater and freshwater environments.
Part Number: E70340
Installation: Thru-Hull Flush Mount
Frequency: High CHIRP (170-230 kHz)
Max Depth: 900 ft (274 m)
Cable Length: 10 Meters (33 ft) with a 9-pin connector
Compatibility: Directly connects to Element S and CP100 modules. Compatible with Axiom RV, Axiom Pro, and Element HV using an optional adapter cable (A80490 or A80559).
Installation Tip: Bronze transducers should never be installed on metal hulls (aluminum or steel) due to the risk of galvanic corrosion. If you have a metal hull, I can help you find a Plastic CPT-S Transducer or an In-Hull version instead. Would you like to see those options?
