The Penfolds Bin 169 Coonawarra Cabernet Sauvignon 2019 opens with a deep garnet hue and aromas of blackcurrant, mulberries, blueberry, and raspberry, underpinned by herbal notes like bay leaf and sage, and a subtle hint of iodine and cocoa powder. It’s structured and intense: rich dark fruit meets finely‐grained tannins, lively acidity and mineral drive, followed by a long, polished finish. 

This wine is 100 % Cabernet Sauvignon from the terra rossa soils of the Coonawarra region, matured for 17 months in French oak hogsheads.
