A nice Hardy Perfect Wide Spool reel, 3 1/4" set up for RHW. A scarce pre-war model in a highly desirable size. Duplicated Mark II check. Nice leaded patina and the reel is tight with very little wobble. No Agate. Brass ribbed foot. The only issue here is that there is a repaired crack in the frame opposite the tension adjuster, though it does not adversely impact the reel's mechanical function. There is also some minor discoloration on the inside of the spool though it doesn't reach the level of corrosion. Comes in a Peerless leather pouch.
