"Mora considers the 2021 La Cerqueta his best old Garnacha on slate soils, produced with the grapes from a vineyard that's in conversion to organics at 630 meters in altitude. The whole clusters were foot trodden and fermented with indigenous yeasts with a long cuvaison of 76 days. It has 13.5% alcohol and a low pH of 3.25 coupled with close to six grams of acidity. This is superb. There is cleanliness, precision and symmetry here, and it's floral and perfumed and has tension and citrus freshness. As with many other wines, 2021 has to be the finest vintage for this wine yet. 4,352 bottles produced. It was bottled in March 2023." 95pts Luis Gutiérrez The Wine Advocate
