Coronado's Orange Avenue was already a destination when tiki culture swept Southern California in the 1950s. Bars promising South Sea atmosphere gave Navy town regulars a taste of paradise without leaving the island. Places like these were built on rum, bamboo, and the promise of somewhere far away. Part of our Vintage Tiki collection, celebrating the defunct golden era bars of yesteryear.
