An antique Victorian five stone ring. Set with five oval-cut pink sapphires that graduate in size towards the middle, the largest central sapphire weighing 0.78 carats. The vivid pink gemstones are unheated and untreated as assessed by our GIA qualified gemologist and are secured in claw-settings. The combined sapphire weight amounts to an impressive 2.08 carats. This beautiful half hoop ring is finished with a carved gallery, open back-holing and marked '18ct' indicating 18ct yellow gold. Circa 1880.
