A superb Saracione Mark V Gear and Pawl Salmon reel, 4 1/4" and set up for LHW. This is the latest variation in Joe's Mark V series which utilizes a gear and pawl drag system. Mint condition (it has had backing loaded onto it but the reel has never been used). Black anodized aluminum frame and spool with a silver handle, oil port cover, and drag adjuster. The serial number "928" is stamped into the side of the foot. A wonderfully loud click on the inbound and especially the outbound direction. The spool width is 1 1/16" and the reel weighs 12.6 ounces without the line. Designed to hold 8, 9, and 10 weight lines with 225 yards of backing and to pair with rods in the 13 1/2' to 15' range. The reel packs in the original neoprene pouch and box. A nice chance to pick up a great spey reel without the wait.
