A nice RK Bolt bamboo fly rod, 7'6", 2-piece, 2-tip, built for a #4 line. Weighs 2.8 ounces. Serial #223, made in 2002 and sold through Marty Keane. Mint condition. Delicate, full flexing action which would be ideal for fishing tricos. Wrapped brown with yellow edging. Mildrum carbide stripper and chrome snake guides. Dark wheat straw oven tempered cane. Two opposed node pattern. Excellent varnish. The ferrule fits are good and the rod is as straight as the day it left the shop. Brass and cork ferrule plug. The grip is 5 1/2" and done in a western style and the seat is a mortised cork with aluminum pocket cap and ring for light weight. The pocket cap is stamped "RK Bolt, Rodmaker". The rod packs into a red cloth bag and the original tube with Bob's tastefully done data sticker.
