PLEASE NOTE: Each tag features a pre-engraved back with authentic aircraft details—matching the exclusive edition originally crafted for Air Tractor. Custom engraving is not available for this special release.

Built to meet the demands of aerial application and wildfire response, the AT-1002A prototype represents Air Tractor’s commitment to power, performance, and precision. Now, for the first time ever, aviation fans can own a piece of that legacy.
Founded in 1972 by Leland Snow, Air Tractor has become a leader in aerial and firefighting applications. For over 50 years, operators worldwide have relied on its rugged, high-performance fleet, trusted for power, durability, and precision in the toughest conditions.
To meet demanding aerial missions, Air Tractor developed the AT-1002A prototype, built for agriculture and wildfire suppression. Crafted from the original skin of N4285K, the first prototype, these PlaneTags feature an engraved back. Just 1,002 were produced to match the aircraft’s designation, with 502 reserved for Air Tractor and 500 available to collectors.

The AT-1002A first flew on November 25, 2009. After more than a decade in service, it was retired in 2023, making way for a reimagined version now in development. In 2024, the legacy continued when N4285K PlaneTags flew aboard the second prototype, AT-1002A S/N: 0002.

This is a true special edition release. Only 500 of these PlaneTags exist for collectors. There will be no restock and no reissue, so don’t miss your chance to own a piece of AT-1002A history.

*Important Notice – Please Read Carefully
PlaneTags are made from actual retired aircraft fuselage, not merely stamped metal. Because PlaneTags are made from real fuselage, each PlaneTag bears the color, thickness, and wear and tear from the portion of the fuselage from which it was cut and it is therefore rare to create two identical PlaneTags. These variations and imperfections are not product flaws. They are part of the beauty of PlaneTags. As a result, you will not have an option to select the color of your PlaneTag. The images on this website are provided for reference only and should not be used as the sole basis for choosing a particular PlaneTag.
