This dress style is so chic, and the satin feels so beautiful to wear.

The print is based on a vintage alphabet book from the 1850s. You might have noticed we have quite a soft spot for vintage illustrations here at Joolz! I love to trawl through back catalogues at libraries looking for wonderful things like this stunning illustrated alphabet. Some of the plates were not in the best condition, so I tidied it up a little to make the print work, but kept as much of the original as possible for our fabric version.

The dress has an elastic waist, shirt buttons and a bow which ties at the neck, buttons on the cuffs, and of course, pockets.
