(this wine has changed its composition substantially as it now includes vineyards that were previously bottled separately, in particular En la Barre, Clos le Meix Tavaux and Tillets; the blend is now from those vineyards plus Sous La Velle, Les Corbins, Pré de Manche and Les Chaumes de Narvaux). Here too there is a whiff of the exotic lurking in the background of the aromas of jasmine tea, white flower and passion fruit. The very generously proportioned flavors are rich to the point of opulence with a highly seductive mouthfeel before tightening up on the impressively long, balanced and complex finale. This is an excellent Meursault villages that is warmly recommended plus it should age gracefully.
