Overlay is a process that utilizes at least two layers of sterling silver or gold. One layer forms the foundation, while the second is used to design the individual detailed overlay. In this ring the second layer forms lovely border patterns for a perfect finish. The ring is stamped sterling, 14K, and hallmarked by the artist.
