On the palate it’s poised and gently textural, offering just enough mid-weight creaminess before tapering into a saline, stone-etched finish.

2016 was challenging but rewarding: frost cut yields dramatically, yet what remained was wonderfully concentrated, pure and finely balanced. Pernot-Belicard turned adversity into precision, producing wines with real focus and drive.

Pernot-Belicard is one of Puligny’s rising stars, run by Paul Pernot’s grandson, Philippe. Since taking over in the early 2010s, he’s tightened viticulture, refined élevage and pushed quality to impressive heights.
