An Edwardian single-stone sapphire ring. Set with a 4.37 carat cushion-cut ceylon sapphire of impressive saturation and transparency. The sapphire is secured in an 18ct white gold claw-setting. Gently engraved shoulders finish this ring, leading down to the 18ct white gold band. Circa 1905.
