The Castore 42 Pendant Light from Artemide showcases gentle curves with a minimalist aesthetic that allows it to blend in with a wider variety of decors than more ostentatious lights. Light shines through both the spherical, hand-blown glass diffuser and the bottom of the polycarbonate-covered steel stem where it joins with the round shade. To make the transition from the strong diffuser to the blind lamp structure area gentle, the globe-shaped diffuser is enhanced with a removable fitting. A length of stainless steel cord that can be cut on site is included from which to hand the light.
