A nice Saracione Classic American (SCA) fly reel, 4" diameter and set up for RHW. The reel weighs 10.4 ounces on my scale and has a 7/8" spool width. Mint condition. Adjustable drag and a clever removable sideplate design which allows for an easy spool change or change to the retrieve. Light gold anodized aluminum spool and frame. The sideplates are black anodized. The Serpentine handle, foot, and buttons are all anodized silver. Superb craftsmanship and a very nice early Saracione design. The reel comes in a padded suede leather zipper pouch. The original owner of this reel told me that it was part of a display set that Joe used very early in his career to show anglers the reels he was building. These reels are hard to come by especially in this large 4" size.
