Very rare work by the apostle of modern "tent preaching," Andrew Manship. He traced the origins of tent preaching back to the Tabernacle and was a key figure in promoting the practice during the latter part of the 19th century.

His larger work on the history of the practice is quite desirable. The present we have never seen before. It is an account of his own "tent ministry" over the course of an entire year. Excellent item. Also includes a full page warning on the front interior wrap against the "morphia," i.e. opium.
