A delicious old vine Zinfandel- well mostly Zinfandel. 81% Zinfandel, 19% Petite Sirah. Aged 15 months in a mixture of oak, about 25% new. Classic blackberry and cranberry nose, black cherry, plum a touch of chocolate and spice. It's full bodied and bright on the palate, full of brambly fruit, some black pepper and a hint of Asian spice with some creamy oak too. Good acidity and soft tannins. Delicious with a fine roasted piece of red meat but also great with Thanksgiving and Christmas meals too!
