This stunning and unique piece was imported from England. It is a Georgian tiger oak drop front secretary desk. The sides are beautifully angled with a display area at the top of the cabinet and shelves on the lower section. It has beautiful carving in several locations. A single key works the drop down section and both side cabinets. This is an extremely heavy piece and is 61" wide, 48.5" tall to the top of the backsplash and about 20" deep.

This piece does have some signs of it's age. It has some finish loss. It is missing the key guard to the drop down portion. There is a crack on the bottom trim in the same spot on both sides. The two stabilizer bars are supposed to come out automatically when the desk is dropped but only one of them does. The other has to be pulled out manually. This could be because one of the metal bars inside is bent. Please see all the photos for details.
