(FOR SALE) A vintage Issey Miyake ‘I.S. Sport’ Bomber Jacket

Issey Miyake’s brilliance in technical design remains some of the most influential work we’ve seen in the last half-century. Born in Hiroshima, Miyake studied graphic design at Tama Art University in Tokyo. Miyake would later move to Paris to pursue a career in fashion, eventually founding his own label, Miyake Design Studio in 1970. Pushing boundaries of functionality and techniques, Miyake’s innovation included pleating, origami folding, and computer-generated designs, of which were some of the first of their kind.

-From Issey Miyake’s sport label, now no longer in production.

-condition: 8/10, sun faded but otherwise great overall condition.
