A nice Kevin Rowland salmon reel that you rarely see on this side of the Atlantic. LHW. This is the Raven 4/0 model, with a 3.8" diameter and a 1.18" spool width. Kevin makes these reels in Finland and this model is clearly designed for hunting larger salmon with a capacity for longer spey lines in the 9-11 class with 275 yards of backing. A matte, almost nickel colored frame and spool with black sideplates and a ported S-style handle. Near mint condition, with nary a sign of use on the entire reel except for some faint mounting marks on the foot. Twist dial drag adjuster. "K Rowland Reels, Maker" etched into the faceplate along with "Raven 4/0" and the serial number "No 51". The reel packs into a foam padded aluminum tube-style case with a snap-on top.
