Each mug is handcrafted with intention and care. I paint each mug by hand and then fire them three separate times to achieve this final look. The 22k gold luster is food safe but cannot be microwaved. I also recommend hand washing because hot dishwasher water and soap can tarnish the gold. Gold luster tarnishing over time is normal. With care, each stoneware piece should last you over a lifetime!
