Original to this 1870 engagement ring are five old round and cushion-cut diamonds estimated to a total weight of 0.90ct. The claw settings intentionally elevate the diamonds and create space for light to flood through and illuminate the stones. The light engravings featured on the shoulders have softened with time, accentuating the rich history of this Victorian ring, as do the antique stone cuts. Five-stone rings are a lovely alternative to cluster or solitaire diamond engagement rings, as they can be easily stacked with a wedding band.
Unless stated otherwise, gem weights and specifications are estimated (assessed in mount).
