The design shows several strong Hornby characteristics in its proportions and detailing. The piece is unmarked and no identical example has been located, so it is offered as an attribution rather than a confirmed work.

The sideboard is in good condition overall, with a couple of marks to the top surface, one being more noticeable, along with general wear and tear consistent with age and use. The structure is solid and the piece presents well.
