The Single Twist Wrought Iron Newel Post features one 12" twist and it's normally used in an over-the-post system where the handrail runs continuous with no stops. An iron newel post will be required every 8 ft, every time your stairs turn, change levels or end. 

• 1-3/16″ Square Bar with 1 twist  - Height: 48″
• Must be mounted into the floor (Mounting Kit REQUIRED)
• Typically use with matching balusters and Twist & Basket Series
• Can be easily installed with our popular Iron Newel Post Mounting Kit (Sold Separately)

Caution: It is critical that the newel is attached securely in order for the staircase to comply with local building codes.
