Your Magic: The Gathering journey begins with a friend beside you!

Play your very first game in a guided battle of Aang versus Zuko. Choose your side and send your forces to your opponent while learning essential gameplay lessons. Then, once you’ve conquered the basics, master the remaining elements by creating Avatar: The Last Airbender-themed decks—just combine any two of the 8 themed 20-card half-decks and play. Cards arrive in two 100-card packets. The first packet contains two 20-card tutorial decks (Aang and Zuko) and three 20-card themed half-decks (Waterbending, Allies, and Spells). The second packet contains five 20-card themed half-decks (Firebending, Earthbending, Big Creatures, Counters, and Attacking). Mix and match themes to find your favorite combos!

Each Beginner Box contains the following:

• 10 Themed Jumpstart half-decks 
  • Two (2) of these Jumpstart half-decks are tutorial decks and are designed to be played against each other. 
  • Each half-deck includes 20 cards. Shuffle two together and play!
