Copper Sulphate (کاپر سلفیٹ) is a broad-spectrum fungicide and bactericide trusted by gardeners to fight diseases like blight, rust, powdery mildew, and bacterial leaf spots. It works by forming a protective barrier on leaves and stems, preventing fungal spores and bacteria from spreading.
This chemical is especially useful in Pakistan’s humid weather, particularly during monsoon and after rainfall, when fungal infections like tomato blight, chilli leaf spot, or okra mildew are common.
Can I use this on vegetables and fruits?
Yes — it's safe when used as directed. Stop spraying at least 7 days before harvest, and wash produce before eating.
How often should I spray it?
Apply every 10–15 days during humid or rainy periods. For prevention, monthly is enough.
Can I mix copper sulphate with other sprays?
No — avoid mixing with neem oil, acidic foliar sprays, or liquid fertilizers. If using those, leave a 7-day gap.
Is it safe for flowering plants and roses?
Yes — copper sulphate controls mildew and black spot in roses. Spray early morning or evening.
What if it rains after I spray?
Reapply after heavy rainfall to maintain protection, especially for vegetables and soft-leafed plants.
