When installing a commercially available car navigation system, we recommend using it with the separately sold CAN-Bus interface "GE-XA02". Note 4. If you have installed an in-dash TV, etc., please be careful as turning up the monitor will obstruct the operation of the hazard switch. Note 5. For cars with a rear view camera, you can use it by connecting the RCA terminal inside the 52P wiring connector to the rear camera terminal of the commercial car AV to be installed. Note 6. If the vehicle is equipped with a steering audio switch, the switch function will not be available. However, if you use the separately sold "GE-XA02" and "GE-X008", you can use the switch functions even after replacing and installing it in a commercially available car AV. Note 7. It can also be installed on cars with a Start/Stop system, but depending on the model of the commercial car AV to which it is installed and the usage conditions, the power of the commercial car AV may be cut off when the engine is restarted using the idling stop function. In this case, you can avoid this by using the separately sold "GE-X007" and "GE-X009". However, if you use the separately sold "GE-XA02", "GE-X007" is not required. Note 8. The external audio input terminal and USB terminal will no longer be usable. Note 9. Due to the 31° inclination angle of the mounting part on the vehicle side, it may not be possible to install it depending on the commercially available car AV product, so please check with each car AV manufacturer. Note 10. Vehicles with the manufacturer's option 714SDCW have not been investigated. Note 11. GE-X006 (sold separately) is required to extract the illumination power supply. However, it is not necessary when using the separately sold CAN-Bus interface "GE-XA02" or when installing a commercially available car AV without an illumination power supply. Note 12. The genuine hands-free function will no longer be available. Note 13. The genuine monitor will be removed, but it will be used during setup, so please store it in the monitor case that comes with the kit and keep it in the car. Note 14.
