Why the 12" Chord Matters

Most standard tabs use a 9" chord. By moving to the 12" chord found on the 2412E, you gain significantly more "lift-per-degree" of deflection. This allows you to plane your boat at a lower RPM, which increases fuel economy and provides a much smoother ride in head seas by keeping the bow down.
