The VTT Mucosa Model was designed to practice certain steps of ESD (endoscopic mucosal dissection). This model consists of three layers. The base layer is made of high-density VTT and simulates the muscularis. The center layer is thin and made of very soft VTT to simulate the sub-mucosa. The topmost layer, made of medium-density VTT, simulates the mucosa.

KOTOBUKI Medical has created a specially formulated injection fluid to be used with the Mucosa Model. By injecting the VTT Injection Fluid (VTT-INJ) into the submucosa layer of the model, you can realistically simulate lesion elevation.
