A very nice VR Design (Vladimir Rachenko) Salar Incomparabile raised pillar fly reel, 3 5/8" diameter and set up for LHW. Mint condition. Clear silver aluminum frame and spool with a brass foot. Raised pillar design, this is the "Standard" version of this model with double pillars on the top of the frame and single pillars on each side. Two medallions set into the front plate are engraved, the first with the maker and serial number "82", and the second with the model. The backplate features the drag adjuster dial with twelve positions. Ivorine handle. Smooth click and pawl design and the spool is palmable for extra control. The reel weighs 12.9 ounces on my scale. The reel packs into a neoprene pouch and the box with original paperwork. A very nice package here salmon and steelhead anglers.
