Between recording albums, touring, going on surf trips, and running the Costa Mesa Conceptual Art Center, Costa Mesa's Alex Knost manages to squeeze in some time to shape some select sleds.

New from BMT this sled is a combination of a couple different design ideas we've been seeing from Alex lately. The outline includes a pulled in, rounded off nose that glides down into a slightly wider diamond tail. The rocker profile is on the flatter side with just a bit of kick in the nose and tail for reaching optimal speeds. The rails are fuller than those of the Disco and a sharp edge travels half way up the board. The bottom contour starts with a slight roll in the nose that fades into a deep bonzer concave that runs between the fins and ends with vee out the tail.
