Mizmaze is an exquisite knitted fabric used for upholstery, featuring a unique graphical design. It is manufactured using an innovative process that drastically reduces water consumption. Like all double-knitted upholsteries from Kvadrat Febrik, Mizmaze offers a plush, padded feel and exceptional elasticity. Depending on the viewing angle, the fabric reveals intricate lines and shadows that play with light on its richly textured surface. Mizmaze combines a layer of luxurious wool with a supportive polyester backing, resulting in its desired volume. The addition of polyamide enhances the fabric's durability, longevity, and resistance to abrasion. The inspiration for Mizmaze comes from Sylvain's maze drawings, as well as architecture and building materials. The color palette features natural, earthy tones influenced by Sylvain's collection of objects such as bricks and tiles. These subtle hues, including charcoal, okra, grey, and hints of blues and
greens, bring the initial concept to life in the finished textile.
