When comparing the refined models that legendary California shaper Marc Andreini has to offer you might feel like your splitting hairs because they're all good. The biggest difference between the Serena and Marc's most famous model, the Vaquero, is that the This Serena model come equiped with an edge bottom design! This is George Greenough's latest obsession and he's been passing down the knowledge of how to design and build these bottom contours to very specific and selective shapers. Marc Andreini being one of his long time friends was one of the first to get the call.

The Serena is a modification of an early 70's style single fin. Picture surfing from the early 1970's Witzig film Sea of Joy, like some of the designs surfed in this film, the Serena has a much more pulled in tail that allows you to fit more easily into steeper parts of the wave and bank tighter turns. This is more inviting to the back foot oriented surfers. Hand selected fin personally designed by Marc Andreini included.
