After Joseph d'Asté, Impressive Pair of Napoleon III Style Gilt Bronze Jardinières

A monumental pair of Jardinières, made from patinated bronze with gilt features, they show a pair of robed putti holding a pair of twin handled lidded bowls and stand 1.5m tall. These are each signed to the rear with “J. DASTE” for Joseph d’Aste. More than likely a later production, they are still very impressive.

The pair are in very good condition with no major damage and no losses. The only thing worth mentioning is some very minor tarnishing to the lid of one of the pieces and some wax remnants to the rear.

They stand 150cm H x 55cm W x 37cm D and weigh approximately 70-80kg each.
